Maybe it’s your first time rendering animation in blender. You hit render animation and waited few hours to render and then, you don’t know where is your animation file. So don’t worry. You will know how to save it somewhere you know on your computer.
As default, blender saves rendered animation as an image sequence in your computer’s temp folder.
for example, if your animation is 200 frames. every frame will be saved as a PNG image inside the temp folder. like :
0001.png, 0002.png, 0003.png, … 0199.png, 0200.png
You can change it so easily in blender.
For example we have this animation here. Just camera movies though this object. Only 80 frames.

Now, go to => output properties => output tab

Here you can change the output path, output format and so on…
To save the rendered animation as video format. change your settings like this.
You can use the Folder Icon to select a path of your output file.


Here is the format you should use. You can use the AVI Raw too but the output file is going to be a very large file.
